Street celebrations, family-friendly heritage days, a pirate invasion, fireworks and parties make the annual Pirates Week a fun time to be in George Town.
The festival commemorates the days when the Cayman islands were the haunt of pirates and buccaneers.

The Cayman Islands Marathon takes place on the first Sunday in December every year. The 2010 event will take place on Sunday, 5th December. The event consists of a full marathon, half marathon, 4-person relay and a Kids Fun Run.
The race is only in its 7th year but we're growing! Our reputation is that of a intimate, warm, friendly, well organised event, and we hope you'll come and experience it for yourself.
