Seeing the site in Grand Cayman stretching from sea to sea across the most desirable part of the most desirable beach in the region, Mike at once realized that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and set out to make his dream a reality.

With tenacity and determination, he remained true to his vision, and overcame the obstacles to create the finest luxury resort community in the Caribbean.

Along the way he has searched the world for those elements that make a destination special and he is still bringing these unique ideas home to his project in Grand Cayman. Possibly the only major developer of branded resort and luxury residential communities who has devoted much of his adult life to exploration in search of "the best" through seeking out and experiencing the best and most rewarding that life has to offer, Mike recently returned to Cayman’s shores from an international quest.

On his search for perfection, he traversed the globe during an 11-month voyage on his 130-foot sailboat - visiting many of the world’s most appreciated coastal communities. Through his tour of international harbours, Mike found the inspiration for the 360-acre Dragon Bay development. He has incorporated his discoveries into his vision, philosophy and design.
